medieval medicine valentinavalencia

hello!
Today I am going to write to you about medieval medicine.

Medieval medicine is based on old knowledge and knowledge from natural remedies such as plants but also on magical assumptions and those systematic notions practiced and studied first by monks and then in universities. From earlier times, in the Middle Ages we find the other medicine, the popular one, to which correspond diseases derived from the superstitions and traditions amassed for years and which were passed from country to country, from generation to generation.

These ills were assigned all kinds of symptoms, from the mildest - such as sneezing, or the period of women - to others much more serious that could end even with death or leave a person marked for life - This is how we refer to the physical deformations with which children could be born.
